What is the difference between Dietitian and Nutritionist?

Registered dietitians can call themselves nutritionists, but nutritionists cannot call themselves dietitians.

Registered dietitians hold at least a bachelor’s degree in clinical nutrition and have met specific requirements, including internship, registration exam and working with other professions.

Dietitians have advanced training in nutrition. They use this training to help clients improve their health and wellness through food and relationship with food. They could work with medical professions to decide meal plans, lifestyle educations and advices to achieve your health goals and prevent chronic health issues.
