Alia Fong

Alia brings over 20 years of experience in holistic massage and skin therapy, demonstrating a deep commitment to her craft.

Alia is an internationally qualified holistic skin and massage therapist with over twenty years of industry experience. Her skill set includes aromatherapy, trigger point, prenatal, and Swedish-remedial massage. Alia is also a clinical lymphatic massage practitioner (face and body) and believes that lymphatic wellness can support many areas of health including improved detoxification, fluid balance, gut motility, and glowing skin.

She is also an advocate for corneotherapy, a scientific methodology that aims to maintain, and repair the skin barrier defence systems for a healthy and radiant complexion no matter the skin type.

Alia owned and ran a successful skin therapy and massage clinic for five years, before moving to Vietnam in 2019 where she worked as a content writer for an American skincare company before making Hong Kong her home. It was whilst completing an Advanced Diploma in Health Science (naturopathy and nutrition) in 2023, that she became interested in the lymphatic system and the benefits of supporting it. She went on to study clinical manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) with Vodder International and later in Melbourne with renowned lymphatics practitioner Bee Czarnota.

What Alia can help with at Alive Wellness

Alia’s clinical lymphatic drainage treatments are based on a combination of techniques that uses a light touch and specialised repetitive movements to activate lymph flow. Even though the treatment involves a gentle touch, it is highly effective as it works directly on superficial lymphatic vessels located just under the skin. As the nervous and lymphatic systems are closely linked, this treatment is ideal for those seeking a relaxing treatment alongside detoxification. Regular lymphatic massage can support hormonal balance, improve sleep quality, relieve stress, reduce inflammation, improve skin healing, and much more.

Alia combines both her knowledge and hands-on expertise in the treatment room to create bespoke individualised treatments for her clients. She aims to give clients the knowledge to continue to support their lymphatic and skin health after their treatment for long-term results.
