Kids Posture Assessment and Restorative Yoga Workshops

你的孩子有沒有過份的背部彎曲?他們患有頻繁的背痛嗎?你知道他們的坐姿及站姿是否正確?

不良姿勢影響深遠,可以防礙連接頭部的血液循環,及至影響健康,心情甚至自我形象。隨著電腦、手機及電子產品的普遍使用,很多孩子的腰背健康也受到影響。

這系列有趣及互動的課當,是專為父母和孩子而設,一起學習評估自己的姿勢,及如何糾正不良的姿勢和習慣。課堂包括教授瑜伽式子以協助改善姿勢,與包括一套簡單並可在家裡每天練習的動作,以持續改善體姿。

Do your kids have sway back? Do they suffer from frequent back pains?  Do you know if they are sitting or standing properly?

Posture has a huge impact to us for circulation to head, self esteem, health and mood.  It is closely related to our nervous system and affects our self image.  With the use of computer and mobile electronic devices, many kids are suffering from bad posture and its consequences.

This   series of fun and interactive workshops and are for parents and children to learn together to assess their own postures and learn ways to correct bad postures and habits.  Yoga will be taught to help restore postures with a simple sequence that can be learnt and practised at home.

Who should attend: Parents and children (of any ages) who suffer from bad postures or wanting to avoid forming bad postures.

Kids posture Series I: Sitting Pretty

What will you learn:

Learn from Alice, physiotherapist:

– get an assessment to know if there is any postural issues

– learn how to sit and use computer properly (ergonomic) to avoid neck problems

– learn simple ways to prop up and sit straight

– know how to set up your “work desk”

– you will also take home a little chart to continue assessment at home

Learn from Pat, yoga instructor:

– a session of restorative yoga practice

– learn a simple yoga sequence to practise at home to maintain good body posture

Time: Contact us for your next class

Fee: HK$350/ person.  HK$600/ pair

Attire: Loose or yoga clothing

Kids posture series II: Standing Smart

What will you learn:

Learn from Alice, physiotherapist:

– get an assessment to know if there is any postural issues: sway back? poking chin? pigeon stand?

– is the body weight bearing equally?

– learn how to stand properly that will give a good image and prevent any knee and back pain in the future

– you will also take home a little chart to continue assessment at home

Learn from Pat, yoga instructor:

– a session of restorative yoga practice

– learn a simple yoga sequence to practise at home to maintain good body posture

Time:  call us as we have regular classes

– 一堂富療癒性及有趣的親子的瑜伽課

– 學習一個簡單的瑜伽順序,可以在家練習,以保持良好的身體姿勢

時間:  12月2 &16日(星期六)下午12時至1時45分

費用:HK $ 350 /人。 HK $ 600 /二人同行

孩子體姿系列II:站得醒
